The Wythe Boutique Hotel in Brooklyn is a site to behold. A 100+ year old Textile Factory that has been VERY tastefully re-done. The modern vibe perfectly blends with the industrial feel of the building and the addition of some classic and chic finishes provide a balance that is pretty close to my idea of perfection. A few things I would consider a bit "cliche" or "trendy", however, there are also many timeless elements and I think they nailed it with the monochromatic color scheme throughout.
Though I haven't stayed in the rooms, I've spent time in the restaurant and common spaces and I would recommend the trek out of Manhattan to make a special trip to this very special hotel.
