Sensory overload!

Okay, so I stumbled upon this website localocations and I am obsessed! They have a million different photos of properties (mostly used for photo and film shoots) organized by location and style. It's a designer's dreamland and I'm afraid I may need to be checked into rehab before the end of the week. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Up-cycled Doily Lamp

What a wonderful way to display your vintage doilies! Not only is the fixture beautiful, but the shadows that the lamp creates are incredible!

Modern Rustic PERFECTION

This home strikes a great balance of modern and rustic. Much of the space is simply a white canvas that gives it a modern, serene feel. That same white canvas allows the warmer elements and furniture to lure you in and appreciate their depth, texture, and rustic history.

I am obsessed with the slatted white wood floors throughout! I also love the exposed beams in the kitchen/dining area and the beautiful crown molding in the living and bedroom areas.

Irresistable Italy

Anyone want to go "splitzee's" on a rustic home in Italy? Check out how charming some of these "fixer-uppers" are; and they're actually pretty affordable. "Dream bigger, everyday" that's 1 of my mottos for 2011!

I found these on a real estate website, so obviously the photos aren't professional shots. However, each home is uniquely OVERFLOWING with SO MUCH CHARACTER, that even these amateur photos are intriguing.

I hope you enjoy the few pics I selected as favorites, including rural farm houses, town-homes, country cottages and even a Trullo home made almost entirely of stone, without any cement!
