Dear Mom,
I regret all of the sarcastic things I said to you as a child about your "little collections" of things. More specifically, I think that the old typewriter drawer you had hanging on the wall, full of "put-abouts" is now pretty awesome.
Thank you for teaching me what was cool, before I knew it was cool. You are the ultimate trend-setter and a wonderful resource for inspiration!

Oh, I remember, but so glad you caught on and fell in love with it all. It's part of what mom's do when they're trying to teach their precious sons.......what a privilege it was and always will be as long as I live.
