Rustic Inspiration in Spitalfields London

These converted warehouse spaces on the site of the old Spitalfields Market, in the East London borough of Tower Hamlets, make my heart go "boom, boom, boom"!

Cozy Kitchens

Eclectic, inspiring, creative, and cozy. These kitchens each display their own unique style and push their own respective boundaries! I am tired of kitchens over-run with bulky cabinets and huge appliances! I say open up some of that shelving and get creative!

Love of Earth

Hey ya'll! Sorry for the hiatus. Things have been crazy busy of late and you will know why soon enough! haha That's all I can say at this point. Anyways, I was digging back through some old photos and found this picture I took back in 2008. I am NOT a photographer, just a creative soul.

This shot gives me joy for many reasons:
1. the location- Paw Paw's farm, right on the white river
2. the ring I'm wearing- a family heirloom given to me by my dad, HANDMADE by his grandfather out of the australian florin (a coin made of 95% nickel and 5% copper), this ring is now my wedding ring!
3. the symbolism- It's no secret that I love the earth and am constantly looking for ways to reduce, reuse, up-cycle, etc.

Have a wonderful weekend! I'll try not to be such a stranger to my own blog!

Take me home

Ridiculously inspired by this home shot by Mikkel Vang!

Fine Little Day

Elisabeth Dunker from Fine Little Day dreamed of one day having her own family cottage on the Swedish countryside. This dream home, now a reality, is a space where she can get away, slow down, and enjoy the simplicity of life. She is inspiring to me as a blogger and creator who seems to grasp the blessing of each and every "fine little day". The style of HER dream cottage is a bit feminine and country for my specific taste, but I love the eclectic feel, the quirky objects, her bold mixture of patterns and color and the overall simplicity of her small space.
