Hemingway's Studio

Anyone know where I could get a Musk Ox head like this? I feel it might help me blog better.

Ernest Hemingway's studio in his Havana home as it appeared after his death. Photo taken on July 03, 1961.

I love the organized chaos of this space and the simplicity of the desk. However, I am still trying to understand the reasoning behind the angle of the desk and how it ties into the layout of the rest of the space. The lighting leads me to believe that there is a window behind the desk. So, why would he prefer to look at the ox head and the bookshelf?

  1. Are we perhaps looking at the back of the guest chair? I think I'm seeing the arm of a more substantial chair on the other side of the desk. Maybe?
